Jamie has had a superb 2009 and we at Sutsu are very excited to have supported him. Jamie completed this year by becoming UK Wavesailing Champion and is now looking to compete in both the UK & World Wave Tours for 2010.
We got interested in signing Jamie when it became apparent that he wasn’t only a great sailor and competitor but also had strong creative interests off the water, which include his skills as a film editor and producer. Jamie works with Umi producing some of the best windsurfing films about at the moment and we are pleased to be a small part of supporting this. As well as this we found that Sutsu and Jamie share a common interest in the protection of our environment especially the oceans and water we all hold dear. Although no plans are afoot as yet we have discussed future opportunities to look at what exposure Jamie can bring to help support Sutsu’s pledge to support the repair and improvement of our beaches and waters.
Jamie is soon off to South Africa and Maui to train for the winter, but also aims to catch as much of the good winter sailing conditions in the UK through out January. Good luck with all the training…
We’re proud to say that Jamie is currently the youngest most successful wavesailor in the UK and we at Sutsu are proud to support him for 2010.
