Windsurfing4CancerResearch a charity formed to raise cancer awareness amongst windsurfers and promote early diagnosis and healthy lifestyles. It aims to improve the understanding of cancer and help improve survival rates by sponsoring specific research projects.

One of the W4CR fundraising events taking place this weekend is:

Sunrise Sunset 2009 on Sunday May 3rd at Pugneys Country Park on the water for 10am.

Join hundreds of windsurfers and other sailors around the country in a major windsurfing fun event. Please register, get sponsored and get on the water to raise funds for this new worthwhile charity.

You can just join in on the day and Pugneys are donating half the lake fee’s to this worthy cause. Plus there will be fund raising on the day. There will be fun events taking place too for added entertainment on the water. You can be on the water for a long or as little as you can but please join in.
