Here’s what RRD have to say:
“Robert Ricci designs (RRD) and Seasprite sports are proud to introduce our NEW freestyle wave line as part of YEAR 15 / 2010 collection of boards. After so many years dedicated to the making of water tools, the only thing that matters in the end is that a product must work, and with RRD you can have trust, as water does not lie.
For 2010 we have decreased the Freestyle Wave boards range to Seven Volumes, we kept the 75 and 120 the same shape as last year, and we have developed and introduced 5 brand new shapes allowing you to cover the same wind range but with less volumes. These are 85, 91, 96, 101, 111 with respective widths of 57.5, 59, 60, 62 and 65 cms
A new hull design with a full V, and without any deep concaves, just minor concaves in the middle, ensures the V is really flat. The rocker line is a bit higher in the front and straighter in the middle point between the front foot and the back foot strap. This allows the boards to feel more exciting and throwabout just like wave boards and perform many more moves. The feeling as soon as you touch the water is like having a really small and compact wave board but at the same time an increased planing capacity compared to last year.
The FSW’s Outlines are completely new with narrower tails and noses to give you a shorter and more compact feel for 2010 to guarantee more top end performance, in speed, carving and jumping. The boards are available in both Limited Edition and X-tech and from RRD dealers nationwide, check www.seaspritesports.com for a list of dealers and info on the boards. RRD freestyle wave, the best just got a lot better!”
