The Irish Slalom Series continues to deliver fantastic events, with the next one around the corner (17th – 18th August) over in Bantry. Check out more info from the organisers:“That time of year again for our annual windsurfing slalom event in Bantry! A ranked slalom event on the Irish Slalom Series calendar this year, fun and pro racers alike will converge at Bantry Bay during August…on the 17th and 18th to be precise…for a weekend of windsurfing in beautiful West Cork.
“Last year we had fun racing on both days, in light winds, with even a treasure hunt style race completed for fun! This year can only be even better!
“If you can plane in 20 knots of wind, and wobble around the gybes, then you’re well able for the silver fleet. For those of you looking for faster racing, join the Gold Fleet!
“Entry is on the day, and is open to everyone! Please ensure that you are a member of the Irish Windsurfing Association…join now online at www.windsurfing.ie.
