Want to become a windsurfing instructor? You can with the UKSA and now their amazing Watersports Instructor Training Diploma is coming to London!
The course can be fully or part funded for the right candidates, and now you can choose whether to do it at UKSA’s HQ in Cowes on the Isle of Wight, or from the London Youth Rowing Club.
If London is more convenient, find out about the selection event that will take place at the end of September. The course begins on October 13 – perfect for those not going to uni and looking for something different.
The nine-week course covers four disciplines (dinghy sailing, windsurfing, kayaking and stand up paddleboarding), giving students an excellent start when looking for work in the watersports industry. They will also be given guaranteed interviews by leading watersports industry employers Neilson, Mark Warner, Sunsail and Ocean Elements.To be eligible, learners must be aged 19-24 when they start the course. If the applicant already holds a Level 2 qualification (GCSE Grace C or equivalent) or higher, they will be eligible for 50% funding. Full funding is also available for those who meet certain criteria.
