Maui Ultra – X-Wave
All Maui Ultra Fins are designed using the latest computer-aided technology in foil development. This is combined with a carefully selected fin outline which determines the side force distribution over the fin in order to provide speed, controllability, upwind performance, and grip in the turns, maneuverability and spin-out resistance.
All Maui Ultra Fins share these unique features and are thoroughly tested by pro and amateur sailors before they go into production.
Every fin is made of G10 with high precision and stiffness in order to provide a maximum of performance under all sailing conditions.
The X-Wave is a revolutionary design because it provides the same characteristics and performance in speed, grip and maneuverability as the Wave fin. The cut-out near the tip gives you the extra looseness you want in cutbacks. A new benchmark for wave fins was set with this design. It gives the fin unbelievable looseness when waveriding and makes the cutback an unforgettable experience.
