He’s here and he’s giving you plenty to choose from. As the second storm of the season to receive an official name, Storm Barney is currently causing many of the best UK windsurfing spots to fire.

With gusts recorded in excess of 70mph already it may be just the hardy few who really take to the water, however if you do suit up yourself then don’t forget to keep within your abilities and hit the water with a friend.

For those interested in finding the best spots then this rather unique weather map may be able to give a little insight as to what is happening where. Be warned though, it is a little addictive to look at.
