Note: this competition is over – the prize has been won by John Humberstone
Imagine joining a club, giving you the option to use the latest 2011 equipment, with full rescue cover, and your kit rigged up for you on one of the South Coast’s best beaches? Yes, it’s hard to believe but such a place does exist in the UK with the X-Train / West Wittering Windsurfing Club holiday centre style hire scheme for windsurfing, kitesurfing or SUP.
THE HIRE PACKAGE
How it works…
Step 1: Call the day before to book your gear over the phone
Step 2: Arrive on the beach pick your rigged gear up and get out on the water, change sizes of equipment if wind speed changes.
Step 3: Return gear to beach
Step 4: Wind drops take out a SUP. A great light wind alternative!
Step 5: Drive home after having a great day, no worries about putting gear in garage!
