Daily Round-Up 3rd August – Busy Weekend

It’s been a busy weekend in the world of windsurfing so we have a fair few things to report this morning…

First of all massive congratulations to Ross Williams who took another podium at the PWA slalom in Fuerteventura! After a good start to the week Williams upped his game and finished with a 5th, 4th and 2nd to clinch another podium finish. John Skye also had a fantastic week of racing, aim managed to achieve both his aims: finish in the top 20 and make a losers final.

Really happy to finish 29th at the PWA World Tour Windsurfing Fuerte World Cup. I had 2 goals which were a losers final…

Now Skye will be heading over to join the rest of the Brits for the next stop on the PWA wave tour in Tenerife. There’s some decent wind forecast for later in the week so we should see another great show from the best guys in the world here!

Fuerte to tenerife… Bring on the waves!! 🙂 #openingceremony

Back on British soil, the Wave Garden in Snowdonia is finally open – and it looks unbelievable! Whilst we don’t think you can windsurf on here just yet we can’t help wondering if it would be possible?!

And finally for today, this might not be windsurfing related. But we can’t stop watching this – Robbie Maddison riding his bike on one of the biggest and baddest waves in the world… If you haven’t already seen this make sure you’re sitting down.

Due to an overwhelming response we’re launching “Pipe Dream” early. I’m proud to present my new video project with DC Shoes!
