I got on the phone to Jon and this time I had a clear idea of what I wanted; with some characteristics of my original board, a few tweaks and also some developments he has made making boards for some of the world record breakers at Luderitz.

I sensed Jon was a little reluctant to discuss the finer details of some developments due to confidentiality with other riders, so we finished along the lines of ‘you don’t need to tell me your secrets but make a board as fast as you can using what you know’.
