A new range of Cabrinha board bags are now available in the UK and in typical
style for Peter Cabrinha they are destined to upstage everything currently available
on the market. For Peter introducing a board bag range is not simply a question
of ‘reverse engineering’ what is currently on the market – it’s a ground up
operation and it’s crucial to him that the bags offered on the market are as
good, and as technical as the bags he would use for his own travels.
Speaking of the bag line Cabrinha said. "I’ve spent a lot of time in the
air over the last 20 years and have lugged my equipment with me to all corners
of the globe. However, airports and airlines in particular can wreak havoc on
you precious gear. I’ve worked together with the guys at Pryde to develop a
line of board bags that will minimize the hastle of travel and maximize your
gear’s protection. The result is a compact line of bags that will cover your
entire quiver of boards. The smallest bag being no larger than an average golf
bag…. which means no excess baggage charge with many airlines."
The range comprises of 3 bags all selling at £80.00 but all share common
technical construction features and all will carry at least 2 boards and even
3! Externally the construction is of a durable nylon material with strategic
reinforcements in areas of high abrasion. Internally the boards are separated
by an added layer of foam covered in water resistant materials and there are
separate straps and clips inside the bag to secure the boards when travelling.
external shoulder strap can be reduced to a hand strap and there are grab handles
at either end of the bag. The wakeboard bag has durable ‘skate’ wheels to ease
your travels through airports.
All bags in the range are considered ‘travel’ bags and have been designed to
cope with the worst baggage handlers in the world.
Travelling, need a bag, look no further.
