The Quiksilver Boardrider experience is set to expand across the country with

the launch of seven new stores nationwide. Stocking the latest Spring / Summer

2001 collection, Quiksilver Boardriders Club stores will be opening in key areas

including Edinburgh, Birmingham, Bournemouth, London - King's Road and Kingston,

Southampton and Oxford.

Catering to every boarding enthusiast's needs, the stores will stock Quiksilver's

surfwear classics and skate inspired streetwear as well as the new complete

Spring / Summer 2001 range of technical and directional mens, womens, boys and

kids ranges, boarding essentials and hardware. Look out for the new Millennium

Technical range, a new technical line of active wear for men and Roxy Jean,

Quiklife and Urban Utility ranges for women.

The sleek new look outlets will compliment the existing Covent Garden Piazza

store and Europe flagship Champs Elysee, Paris Boardriders Club layout.

Quiksilver was born out of a dream in the late 60's in Torquay, Australia when

two surfers John Law and Alan Green decided to combine their passion with economic

reality. Their idea, revolutionary boardshorts for surfers with an emphasis

on form, function and fashion, met with success delivering to the surf community

what it had been looking for. Quiksilver has never looked back. Over recent

years, Quiksilver has diversified, recognising the snow and skate market as

key in continuing its growth in a truly global extreme sports market. With a

team of some of the best athletes this decade, from surfing to snowboarding,

windsurfing to skateboarding, and the organisation of top level snow and surf

competitions, Quiksilver continues to invest in the future of the sports.
