Last race, and it was all to play for. Ricardo Santos of Brazil, Gal Fridman of Israel and Nikos Kaklamanakis of Greece were all within a few points of each other at the front of the fleet, and Nick was trailing by 10 points in 4th…

But – what a final race! Nick gets a flyer and leads the whole way round. That was the best he could do – his chances of a medal would be determined by what happened behind him.

Kaklamanakis gets a hideous start – way down the pan. But he pumps back…. But then Ricardo goes down. Suddenly Nick is in SILVER position! Unfortunately Nikos pumps back, and does enough to put himself in silver. But Nick gets the bronze!!!
