HIGH.TV TO BROADCAST THE WORLD INDOOR WINDSURFING CHAMPIONSHIPS
LIVE FROM THE SCHRODERS LONDON BOAT SHOW 2005

www.High.tv, the world’s first extreme and adventure sports channel on the internet, is to broadcast the Professional Windsurfers Association (PWA) World Indoor Championships LIVE from the Schroders London Boat Show next weekend at ExCel in London’s Docklands.

This LIVE exclusive broadcast will take place over the final weekend of the Show, 15 & 16 January when the event will be at its most exciting with male and female pro sailors from around the globe competing in Freestyle, Slalom and the Jump discipline.

Nik Baker 5 times World Indoor Champion and last year’s overall UK winner said, “High.tv is a new and sophisticated medium that not only raises the profile of windsurfing but enables fans and enthusiasts who cannot make it to the boat show to see us in action.”

James Gower, Marketing Director for the British Marine Federation said, “This is the second year that the Indoor Championships has taken place after 2004 proved a resounding success. All the footage from last year’s debut event can be seen throughout the year on High.tv which not only acts as a great archive resource but a new and exciting way to attract people to this year’s championships.”

Mike Gribbin, Head of Programming for High.tv said, “This is another great opportunity to showcase the huge potential of live internet broadcasting.”

The High.tv broadcast will be available to anyone with a broadband connection from anywhere in the world as well as through many of the internet service providers’ broadband sport sections.
