NEW WORLD SPEED RECORDS!
We’re waiting for this to be confirmed, but according to the latest reports from the south of France the Port St. Louis ISA Speedsurfing Grand Prix ended with two heats in up to 60 knots of wind and two world records were set on the canal in St. Maries de la mer on Sunday.
In the morning Karin Jaggi set a new record with 41.5 knots, and in the evening after competing in the last round Finian Maynard did an incredible run of 48.7 knots!
The event overall was dominated by Antoine Albeau, who won three of the four races.
