SURF’S UP AT NATIONAL MARITIME MUSEUM, CORNWALL
From the 9 July the National Maritime Museum in Cornwall is holding a brand new major exhibition called Surf’s Up!
Celebrating all aspects of surfing, the exhibition traces and illustrates
the development of the sport in the UK. Featuring its pioneers and
personalities, it tells the story of surfing in the UK from its humble
beginnings in belly boarding in the early 1900s, through to its current
cool cult status. It also brings together, for the first time, items of
critical importance to the development of surfing in this country.
Well worth checking out if you’re in the area.
