CHRISTCHURCH WINDSURF WEEKEND
Firstly, the BIG UKWA weekend at the club (23/24 July) is nearly upon us again and if the wind works as it has done perfectly for 2 years then we are in for a treat of Spectacular Formula Sailing.
On Sunday 24th at 4pm the UKWA will use their organisational skills to manage a FUN RACE FOR LOCAL WINDSURFERS of all capabilities over a figure of eight slalom course (thats the easiest type of race).
Support/rescue boats will be in attendance, race commentary will be heard over the tannoy system and all participants will be given a place on the results board.
A cup for the CBSC winner and non CBSC winner will be given by local windsurf shop Spot-On-Water and many prizes have been pledged.
4Boards of Fawley – Maui Magic 2005 Harness (fastest starter)
Solent Sailboards of Calshot – Naish Wave Boom (best wipe out)
Ocean Sports of Mudeford – windsurf lesson (perhaps for the loser)
South Coast Windsurfing of Christchurch – 2-4-1 specialist windsurfing clinic (most enthusiastic sailor)

The Bournemouth Daily Echo and New Milton Times will be covering the event and spectacular sailing will make it to the local news.
CBSC Action Sports Photographer, Bob Sharp will be recording the action too and photos can be purchased from the club.

Demo Weekend
All UK distributors have been invited to showcase their existing and new products. This is an ideal opportunity to try out the new toys and find out whether you’re riding the best kit for you or whether it’s time for a change.

Four classes over two days. Trophies, prizes and wild card entries to the Indoor Championships at the London boat show 2006 are all up for grabs at the UK’s first UKWA Super-Cross Event.
Spot-On-Water Party in association Roadworks
Venue TBC. DJ 1210 will head the line up for an evening of windsurf related shenanigans and general tomfoolery! Get your disco suit out boys and girls, it’s gonna be a big one!
