Finian Maynard re-signs with F2

F2 Windsurfing has announced that current world record holder Finian Maynard has signed a new multi-year agreement.

The relationship from the past two seasons has been very successful, breaking outright world records in the 500-metre and nautical mile courses with speeds of 48.70 and 39.97-knots respectively.

Finian has also performed well in the slalom discipline in 2005 winning the Europeans in Turkey and placing third at the World Championships in Spain.

F2 brand manager Boris Zwetkoff said; “We are looking to the future and securing the services of our top rider was a priority. We hope to have further success on the water in 2006.”
