Jo’s Star is Rising with Sponsors Starboard, Severne and Board Angels
Starboard and Severne sponsored rider Jo Scott is carving a name for herself as a top coach and star of the ‘Club Vass Divas’ dedicated women’s windsurfing clinics. And now Board Angels (the girl’s clothing range from Kangaroo Poo) will be sponsoring Jo as well as the Club Vass Divas clinics. This means all women booking a Club Vass Divas week will receive a welcome pack of gorgeous Board Angels’ goodies, including rash vests, T-shirts and caps for improved on-and-off-water style!
Jo believes these brands all have something positive to offer women’s windsurfing. As she says: “Starboard’s reputation for innovation is awesome, but it’s good to see they’ve thought of the girls too with their range of Diva boards, specifically designed for women windsurfers. We’ll have some of the range at Club Vassiliki for the ladies to try out, both on the Diva clinics and on regular courses. We all know looks are important and Severne make just about the best looking sails out there, but I would also strongly recommend the range I use to female sailors on a performance level. Also in the looks department, the support from Board Angels is the icing on the cake – what more could a girl want!”
Club Vass Divas clinics have been designed specially for girls at all levels and are led by Jo Scott. The relaxed, friendly atmosphere with plenty of mutual support and encouragement helps everyone make huge progress. The packages are also good value, with extra dedicated tuition time, unlimited use of a huge range of cutting-edge, girl-friendly kit and fabulous extras such as yoga sessions, sail aways and evening socials. Courses run as normal for the guys, so partners (and would-be partners) are welcome too! Crèche facilities are also available to look after any little ones, but places are limited so pre-booking is required.
