KANGAROO POO BOUNCES INTO SUMMER

WITH BRIGHTON BEACH BASH

SUNDAY 2^ND JULY

Kangaroo Poo, the urban lifestyle and surf brand, is joining forces with Brighton Watersports Company, to throw what is set to be the event of the summer – The Kangaroo Poo Mahalo Party. The party will be rocking the Beach Nightclub, Brighton for the ultimate Sunday session from 7pm onwards.

The party will follow the day’s main fundraising event: Paddle Round the Pier.

Founded 10 years ago, the event aims to bring all recreational sea-users together to raise funds for the following charities:

• The Rockinghorse Appeal – fundraises to purchase vital pieces of medical equipment for the local children’s hospital.
  
• The Royal National Lifeboat Institution  – is a registered charity that saves lives at sea
  
• SurfAid International – is dedicated to improving the health of people living in isolated regions connected to us through surfing..

Kangaroo Poo and Brighton Watersports have managed to bring together a stunning line-up in what promises to be a priceless night ….

In the spirit of nurturing some serious home grown talent they will be offering some of Brighton’s best in the shape of DJ Naughtyboy and band Silvermaker. 

The ever modest DJ Naughtyboy will be serving up a selection of discerning dance tunes, self-confessed as being: ‘…Brighton’s most popular faith healer blessed with stylus fingers and vinyl palms’.

On the live music tip, Silvermaker will be unleashing some of their hedonistic mayhem with some full-on rock n roll action with their unique gritty pop edge.

And there will a special appearance of top London act Trash Money who will be cooking up a storm with their own brand of ‘petrol sniffing pop truants playing electro punk pop’.

The night’s madness kicks off at 7pm where we suggest a warm up cocktail or three on the Beach patio. Then Mahalo Beach Party musical offering starts in earnest at 8pm til late…

In the spirit of the summer, this is a free party. However, all acts have pledged their allegiance in the name of charity. So folks will be requested to dig deep and make a contribution at the collection box at the door and there will also be a raffle during the course of the night.

Passes for the event will be handed out to those select few throughout the day but are also up for grabs through Brighton Watersports.
