STARBOARD GEMINI TANDEM ARRIVES IN UK…

The Starboard Gemini tandem has arrived in the UK… and has gone straight to Egypt!  After convincing the check in staff at Gatwick Airport to put the 350 litre Gemini on a plane, Tushingham Sails (the UK importer of Starboard) have taken the Gemini to Dahab for its maiden voyage. Starboard international team rider John Hibbard paired up with Dave Hackford from Tushingham to put the Gemini through its paces.

The paparazzi caught them taking it for a spin down the speed strip in Dahab, and by the look of things they were having a blast!

Following Starboards innovative approach to board design the Gemini is the first tandem to be produced in the wide style format. The board is designed to be stable and easy to sail in both non planing and planing winds. The Gemini will be available in the UK for £999.
