XAVIER POPS HIS CORK IN THE BALTIC

Xavier pops his cork in the Baltic

UKWA Formula windsurfing racer Xavier Ferlet raced hard at the recent Junior, Youth and Masters World Championships at Tallinn, Estonia.

The 56-strong Masters fleet competed in twelve races in a full range of wind conditions and Xavier ended up with the silver medal just half a point behind the Norwegian winner Anders Loeken.

This was a hugely popular win; the cheering nearly brought the marquis down at the prize giving. For as well as being a world class performer in his own right Xavier unselfishly devotes a lot of time and effort toward helping the British Formula youth racers to improve.

Well done Xavier, we are proud of you!
