Following on from his win at the FW Worlds...
Light winds prevailed for this years South American Championship hosted this
year in the beautiful country of Chile.
Today had 4 races, all of which Pritchard took the victory. Sailing his 12.0
Gaastra/Bic Sport KPR around the course had some challenges from his fellow
Bic Team Member Jimmy Diaz, Pritchard pretty much walked away from the competition.
The wind was light and gusty but Pritchard still managed to be up to the challenge.
Pritchard took first in 5 of the 6 races for the event.
"This was the lightest wind regatta that i have been in. I was pretty
happy to be planing let alone in first position. I am pretty happy to continue
winning after winning the world championship last week in brazil, and to add
another title as South American champion i am pretty satisfied." said Kevin
on his victory.
