NEW GUL INTERNATIONAL STORE OPENING IN PLYMOUTH

This Autumn Gul International is adding a sixth store to its chain of independent retail outlets.  The new Plymouth shop is located beside the Marks and Spencer entrance of Drakes Circus and will be opening on the 18th of October.   There will be an evening reception with special guest, Skandia Team GBR RS:X windsurfer, Nick Dempsey.
 
The Plymouth store will stock products from across the Gul International ranges, including clothing, marine apparel and boardsports apparel.  Gul International prides itself on being at the forefront of technical watersports products.  Testament to this was Gul’s appointment as Official Technology Partner to Skandia Team GBR for their 2008 Beijing Olympic campaign.  Gul has been working closely with Skandia Team GBR since the partnership began back in 2005 and many of this season’s current marine ranges have been developed through Gul’s work with the team sailors.  Alongside the technical marine apparel Gul is also part of the Sail for Gold scheme.  Gul produces the Official Skandia Team GBR clothing range and 10% of sales from this range goes back to the RYA to support the nations sailors on their Olympic campaign.
 
In celebration of the new store opening, Gul has sailors from Skandia Team GBR visiting the store on its opening day of trading.  RS:X windsurfer Nick Dempsey, who has been nominated to represent Britain at the 2008 Beijing Olympics, will be present throughout the opening evening.    This is a unique opportunity to meet the athletes that will be taking to the water and representing Great Britain in Beijing.  

The store will be opening its doors at 10am with the sailors arriving at 6pm.  During their visit the Gul Plymouth store will be hosting an evening reception with live music and drinks, which is open to everyone.
