Rutland Freestyle Festival – a reminder!
Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th October
If you’re under 18 and keen to have a go at freestyle or improve your existing skills then the RUTLAND FREESTYLE FESTIVAL is just what you’re looking for. The event takes place at Whitwell, Rutland Water and is supported by Tushingham, Starboard, Animal and Rutland Watersports.
Costing no more than the Rutland launch fee, the event caters for all levels of young windsurfer with just a minimum standard of non-planing tacking and gybing. There will be top coaching on hand from the likes of National Champion Andy ‘Bubble’ Chambers, Jim Collis and several other top RYA freestyle coaches.
Each day the event kicks off with briefing at 10am with the finish at 4pm. With prizes galore and a goodie bag for each sailor, whatever the weather delivers, the Rutland Freestyle Festival will leave everyone buzzing about their new found skills and desperate to show them off to their mates back at home!
