On 16th of August 2008 from approx 1 O’clock there will be a unique opportunity to meet Nik Baker (6X World Champion), Matt Pearch (National Champion) and Nick Scott (3 X National Champion). See how their rigs and boards are set up for competition as well as free sailing. 

The team will be supported by Callum from Surf-Centre who will be on hand with some of the 2009 Mistral North kit available to see and try out.

The day will include an open forum for you to ask the team questions on wave and slalom techniques. They will critique some of your own kit set ups, then as the tide goes down and if the wind blows fun racing and or expression session off the beach will be run and later a chance to sail with the team to check out your speed or height in jumps by comparison.

The day will be free of charge to anybody wishing to take part (except parking). Just bring your sailing kit and try to get it rigged before 1 O’clock ready for the off.

The event will be hosted by the Hayling Island Surf Club based at the Inn on the Beach at Hayling Island Beachlands sea front who will have a BarBQue running over lunch time plus a bar for those needing refreshments during the day and there are excellent family facilities overlooking the event location.
