Ray range has been upgraded with a proven concept from our innovative Formula
Race winner, the Falcon 100 – The Thunder Tail (TT). The TT is a unique system
of using 2 triangular tail channels, which not only look radical, but have incredible
performance advantages:
- More direct, performance feeling due to the new trim position and greatly
reduced drag = even more top speed! - Improved control and ease of sailing due to the reduction of surface in
the tail, allowing an bigger wind range! - Better reaction and manoueverability with less tail volume and new direct
trim position!
All other shape details remain the same on the Sting Ray TT range, the Virtual
Volume and Balanced Shape Concepts, thin Manouever Rails and the Air Cushion
Rocker line – all the details that made the original Sting Ray range both test
winners and personal favourites of thousands of sailors!
Produced in the exclusive Carbon Sandwich Technology, the Sting Ray TT range
has the lightest and stiffest feel of all the Ray´s – and with the TT
system now has a distinct performance advantage too!
Supplied with a Maui Fin Company designed Integral Carbon, Spine Technology
fin and soft and comfortable Fanatic velcro footstraps, the Sting Ray TT is

tucked-under Manoeuvre Rails, it keeps you even further out in front! No more

Sting Ray TT Ray 150: The perfect partner! The 150 is the ultimate Freeride
weapon for blasting all those cool racers away! Handles sails up to 9.5 m²
without a second thought and has a top end speed of a Freerace or Slalom board.
Perfect for first time planing and gybing, the generous 73 cm width is ultra
stable and lets you concentrate on just having fun!
Sting Ray TT Ray 170: Planing without whitecaps, feet in or out of the straps
