Two week offer from 24th April 2002

At last! A new world class venue is being custom developed in Margarita that’s
so perfect for kiting it’s called Kite Beach! To help launch the venue, Club
Margarita has put together a special promo for 2 weeks from 24th April 2002.
Later in the year, Club Margarita will be opening a year-round dedicated kite
centre in conjunction with its legendary windsurf centre.

Club Margarita is offering this special kitesurf package as a taster of what’s
to come later in 2002 and to help launch the venue. This is a one-off, non-profit-making
promo, put together in association with a local hotelier in Margarita. The cost
will be £799 for 2 weeks (from 24th April only), including direct return
flights from Gatwick, transfers, b&b accommodation in beachfront hotels,

Isla de Margarita lies just off Venezuela’s Caribbean coast and, already established
as a world class windsurfing Mecca, is fast earning similar renown in kiting
circles. Kite Beach is ideally situated, just 1km upwind of the windsurfing
action on El Yaque beach and only accessible by regular shuttle-boats from the
main beach. This means there is plenty of room for everyone and the warm shallow
water and sandy beach make it ideal for beginners and improvers. The wind conditions
are ideal for all levels – a steady 4-6, building throughout the day, means
plenty of air-time for the more advanced.

Club Margarita’s dedicated kite-school will open later in the year on Kite
Beach, in conjunction with the existing centre on El Yaque Beach. You will be
able to combine kiting with as much windsurfing and wake-boarding as you like,
all as expertly run as we’ve come to expect from the Club Vassiliki/Club Margarita
team. This means quality, all-inclusive tuition, the latest and best kit and
a great, relaxed atmosphere. In addition to hourly shuttle-boats between both
beaches, Club Margarita will provide its own boat to ensure the best instruction
and to guarantee safety. Club Margarita Kiting will have its own centre on Kite
Beach, complete with bar, toilets and everything necessary for chilling between
