Colin Dixon Takes Czech Title

Colin ‘Whippy’ Dixon took part in the Czech National Freestyle event at the Watersweets Ocean Festival in Vassiliki at the end of June, along with his team mates Marco Wedele and Ollie Scott, and beat off some fierce competition to take his first ever title.

The Watersweets event is one of the biggest in the Vassiliki calender with skating, bmx and sailing competitions, so it was even more poignant for one of Club Vass’s own to take the freestyle windsurfing title.

Colin (JP/Neil Pryde), who works for Club Vass is relatively new to the competition scene but looks set to be a strong contender for the National Freestyle rounds at Wight Air and the Animal windfest at the end of the summer or watch out for more information on his and Bubble’s UK clinic tour.
