Sailor update: Ben Harwood K-833 – Ben is having a seriously good year
 

16 year old JP/Neilpryde Freestyle rider Ben, the current UK Junior Freestyle Champion, has had a great windsurfing year so far (topped off by a very productive month summer training at Vassiliki), and is fully prepared for the UK Championships at the Isle of Wight in September.

 
Ben’s switch freestyle is coming on strong and it’s no surprise as Vassiliki offers great freestyle conditions and is also a good training ground for UK pros and fellow team mates Colin ‘whippy’ Dixon  and Bubble Chambers. Ben was able to pick up some great tips both in freestyle and, of course, après freestyle!
 

Ben also qualified as a windsurfing instructor courtesy of Flying Fish, and must be one of the youngest accredited UK windsurfing instructors around. He thoroughly enjoyed his instructor training and can’t wait to encourage budding windsurfers into the sport.
