EXTREME HOLIDAYS TO SUPPORT SURFERS AGAINST SEWAGE

Extreme Holidays, the new UK tour operator that organises surfing, windsurfing
and kitesurfing holidays in the Canary Islands, is to donate £5 to Surfers
Against Sewage (SAS) for every booking it takes during the month of March.

The company’s two founders, Emma Prince and Chris Pedder, both keen surfers,
are avid admirers of the work undertaken by the single issue pressure group
in its campaign for clean, safe water.

"We at Extreme Holidays believe that those who enjoy the highs of extreme
watersports should seek to give back to the ocean by respecting and living in
harmony with the sea," said Emma, adding, "We believe in respecting
the ocean not abusing it.

"We hope to support SAS in Europe and beyond; wherever our holidays travel
we will endeavour to take the philosophies of SAS," she said.

Extreme Holidays caters for everyone from the complete novice looking to get
on a board for the first time, the intermediate surfer looking to improve their
technique, for experts who just want to be shown where the best surf is to be
found. The tailor-made packages are ideal for mixed ability groups, with or
without tuition.

Prices range from £255 to £595 per week for adults and £120
to £295 for children up to the age of 12, including optional insurance,
excluding flights.

A 20% discount is available for holidaymakers using their own equipment.

A beach crèche and hotel kids club are available free of charge.

The minimum age limit for tuition is 7 years for surfing, 10 years for windsurfing
and 18 years for kitesurfing. Younger children can partake in the whole holiday
with supervised body boarding in the shallows.

Participants just require a moderate level of fitness able to swim at least
50 metres in open water.

About Extreme

Extreme Holidays is the brainchild of Emma Prince and Chris Pedder, both keen
surfers, with successful business backgrounds, who embarked on a surfing tour
of France, Portugal, Spain and Morocco – with a 10-year old in tow. Extreme
Holidays aims to take the hassle, stresses, language barriers and sense of intimidation
they encountered on what still remained an amazing trip.

Expansion plans include a centre in Southwest France offering surfing through
the summer with snowboarding in Chamonix during the winter months, before taking
the concept further a field to the Pacific Islands.

Qualified instructors, who have surfed Indo, Fiji and north shore spots like
Pipeline, have technical excellence in their sport of expertise, with British
Surfing Association (BSA), the Royal Yachting Association (RYA) and the British
Kitesurfing Association (BKSA) recognition, as well as being qualified Beach
Lifeguards and competent First Aiders, and a Land Rover 4 x4 off-road driving
courses.

Accommodation is luxury apartment suites within an ‘aparthotel’, with designer
kitchens satellite TV, telephone, safety deposit box and balcony. Beautiful
