Oceansource has joined forces with Boujmaa Guillol and his new ‘Bouj Windsurf Adventures’ centre in Moulay, Morocco, making it easy to book world class windsurfing holidays to Egypt and now Morocco. To celebrate this they’re offering the chance to win a free holiday at either location.
Moulay Bouzarktoune is a tiny fishing village on the west coast of Morocco. Its local mountains accelerate the trade winds, and it’s battered by swells from the Atlantic. This happy combination gives amazing jumping and riding on anything from waist-high to over mast-high waves, and makes it an incredible wavesailing destination for intermediate to advanced sailors. Boujmaa Guillol was a local kid from the village who has grown up to become an international windsurfing star on the PWA World Tour. His friend, Fettah, is not far behind in windsurfing talent, but is also a businessman. Together they have opened Bouj Windsurf Adventures, based in the heart of the village.
Oceansource have visited the location, checked out the centre and sailed till their hands bled (literally) all in the name of research. They were really impressed with the sailing, and with the enthusiasm, friendliness and dedication of their Moroccan friends, so made an agreement to work together, chiefly in taking bookings from the UK and Europe and sharing ideas on how to run great windsurfing centres.
The centre in Moulay is small, meaning you receive a highly personalised service, and the emphasis is on adventure – exploring the local area, wavesailing in fantastic conditions with great equipment and the best local guides you could possibly imagine.
Oceansource El Tur – the main centre in Egypt – already has a strong reputation for year-round wind, a range of conditions (perfect flat water, excellent jumping and the only wave beach in Egypt). This combined with excellent kit and fantastic service is why it’s known as the ultimate windsurfing playground.
For your chance of winning a free holiday at either location, all you need to do is register your details on the Oceansource.net website before November 30th.
It’s free to enter and the winner will be drawn at random during December this year. Full terms and conditions on the website, along with much more information, photos and video of both Oceansource El Tur and Moulay.
