RRD Introduce International Team for 2009
On the wave side the main events contender will be the English ripper John Skye, the globe trotter Florian Jung from Germany, French Wave Champion Yann Sorlut and the flying Dutchman Kevin Mevissen, who will apply his radical approach to freestyle events as well.
Maui based Patrick Bergeron and Rudy Castorina will keep riding on the windsurfing Mecca together with Fabrice Beaux, but only when he is not busy video or photo shooting all around the world with his team mate Sylvain Demercastel.
On the freestyle side, Cheo Diaz, Edvan Souza and Micheal Sumereder will go on to draw the attention of crowds and judges on their RRD styled performances in the EFPT and PWA events.
Representing the slalom side, will be 4-time WSSRC world speed record holder and 6-time windsurfing speed & slalom world champion Finian Maynard, definitely the man to keep your eye on. He is super comfortable and perfectly tuned on his RRD X-Fire 2009 range and will be at all the biggest race events, together with Team mate Tine Slabe (SLO 6) and Andrea Rosati from Italy, who also excel in both freestyle and waves.
Lastly, we have international coaching legend, Jem Hall, who is pushing our R and D hard and getting everyone ripping.
You can bet RRD team riders will be always in the spotlight this coming 2009 season!
