The Windsurfing4CancerResearch (W4CR) team are seeing a steady stream of windsurfers and kitesurfers registering for the FREE TO ENTER fun event on Sunday 3 May but they are ready, with just over a month to go, for the big rush. Full details on the event website

Windsurfing4CancerResearch is looking for windsurfers and kitesurfers to register for the inaugural event for the charity to be held on 3 May. The launch venue is at Hayling Island with matching events to be held at 13 venues at least around the UK, in Ireland and 2 in Holland! A large turn out is expected, in particular at Hayling Island to join Dave White who will be on the water from Sunrise. Dave is fronting the event for David Tuttlebee, a Hayling windsurfer, who has been undergoing chemotherapy since October last year for the recurrence of cancer after only 18 months clear.

Information for windsurfers

When you register, you receive complimentary sail and car stickers (although donations towards costs are welcome) and if you raise over £25.00 in sponsorship your name goes into a FREE PRIZE DRAW.

You just need to register, request a sponsorship web page set up and/or download a paper form and get your family and friends to sponsor you. On the day, you can sail for however long you like and you will be recorded as part of the largest flotilla of sailing craft taking to the water for a single purpose on one day.

Windsurfing4CancerResearch is registered charity number 1128492 and all proceeds will go towards cancer research, education and support. Help W4CR meet their target of £25,000.
