Every year (this year from 23rd-29th of august) Recreas organise the European surfweek for people with a motorical and/or sensorial handicap. The event takes place in the BLOSO-sportscentre “Hazewinkel” in Willebroek, Belgium.

The meaning of the week is to teach the participants to windsurf. Every participant has their own companion who will help them all the way through the week (surfing, activities in the evening and if necessary eating, washing, clothing,…).

We have an agreement with the Belgian government that we can invite 15 foreigners for free (they don’t have to pay anything for
their stay in the BLOSO-sportscentre).
