Unintensive Care, an Oceansource chilled out clinic featuring Emile Kott

Emile Kott (Boards Mag Tester and advanced instructor), Oceansource.net and Bouj Windsurf Adventures have put together a new type of clinic in Moulay this July. Called ‘UnIntensive Care’ the idea is very simple. You sail as hard as you like, but you get to relax as well. It’s a windsurfing clinic, where you can improve your sailing, but you’re also on holiday, not back in school.
Emile will run coaching sessions, video sessions and photo shoots everyday, and his fiancee Jenny (and advanced Yogi, also featured in Boards magazine) will run morning warm-up sessions – you just take part in the ones you fancy going to. If you want full on instruction from an expert sailor and proven coach – it’s there. If you just like the idea of checking out the great sailing in Moulay as part of a group, meeting some new people and having a no hassle holiday – that’s no problem either.
The venue is the Bouj Windsurfing Adventures centre in Moulay, Morrocco which offers great intermediate to advanced wavesailing conditions. The end of July means near-guaranteed wind with a good chance of some decent waves – ideal conditions to work on your jumping, looping and riding. The centre is owned and run by PWA star Boujmaa Guillol and friends and one of the friendliest centres in the windsurfing world, stocked with a great selection of Starboard production and custom waveboards, and Severne sails.
Emile has many years experience of equipment as a current member of the Boards Test Team and and instruction through working in centres all over the world. He also had a great success running his back loop clinic in the UK this winter. His enthusiastic, friendly and relaxed manner is naturally suited to the ‘UnIntensive Care’ style of windsurfing clinic, where he will be on hand to give kit advice, set-up help, on-water coaching, demonstrations and video feedback as you want it!
If you have always liked the idea of going on a windsurfing clinic, are comfortable sailing in wavy conditions on small sails and boards but don’t really like the idea of a full on, intensive coaching holiday, then UnIintensive Care could well be your medicine…
