The Calshot Flyers, based at the Calshot Activities Centre on the Solent, scooped two firsts at the south zone’s first T15 racing event of the season held at Farmoor Reservoir, Oxford,  on Saturday, 20^th June.

A reasonable breeze blew for most of the day providing good racing conditions, fading away to complete calm during the award ceremony.  Some 30 competitors took part, representing teams from Poole, Farmoor, Queen Mary and Calshot. 

Calshot Flyer’s Lucy Taylor won 1^st and Marina Round 3^rd place in the 3.5m category.  Dan Wilson came 2^nd and Sebastian Round 8^th in the 4.5m, Nic Hibdige gained 1^st place, Zack Henry 4^th and Matthew Duffin 8^th in the 5.5m class.  The team came 2^nd overall.

The next event is just two weeks away at the Queen Mary Reservoir.
