“Tuesday night saw the last slalom of the season at Hayling. With a marginal forecast for wind we called the racing, it was helpful that the council had laid a series of buoys downwind and these made excellent racing marks, not deterred by a lack of outside mark, the lead board would decide when to gybe – how far out to sea can you go…

By dusk the wind had increased to finish  fully planing, a great way to sign off the racing series.
