TUSHINGHAM JOINS THE TEAM

Tushingham Sails are the latest windsurfing manufacturer to come on-board
with the exciting new initiative – team15, a decision that RYA Windsurfing
openly applauds. As a result of the Gold level sponsorship that
Tushingham has pledged for the next three years, up to 180 children will
directly benefit, along with the 12 clubs that they represent.

The team15 project offers two levels of activity – the weekly T15 clubs,
which operate locally and provide a great social environment for teenagers
and children to improve their windsurfing; then for those who want to,
there is opportunity for 15 youths to represent their T15 club at four
inter-club events.

The Gold level sponsorship pledged by Tushingham will ensure that these
clubs will be easily identifiable both on and off the water at inter-club
events; the sponsorship money will buy a fantastic set of racing vests for
all 12 clubs.

Gillian Horne RYA Windsurfing Development Officer commented, "The RYA is

extremely pleased that Tushingham have chosen to support such a worthwhile
initiative, which is spreading across the country like wildfire. So far
103 clubs have expressed an interest in offering T15 activity, these clubs
spread from the south coast to Scotland and from Northern Ireland to
Dubai! Word is getting out and everyone wants to join in."
