If the PWA overall rankings were based on the combined Freestyle and Wave

scores, (and why not!), then Britain's Nik Baker would be 1st overall at

the moment - he was the only sailor to make it to the podium in both

disciplines at the recent World Cup event at Pozo, finishing a superbly

impressive 3rd in the waves (behind Kevin Pritchard and Bjorn Dunkerbeck),

and 2nd in Freestyle (Behind Matt Pritchard.) Results which certainly bode

well for the rest of the year...

But Nik wasn't the only Brit doing well. In the waves, we had three other

sailors in the top 20; Tristan Boxford in 14th, and sailing buddies John

Skye and Robby Swift in equal 18th, while John Hibbard claimed a few scalps

too, to finish inside the top 40 at 37th. And in the freestyle discipline,

we fared even better, with John Skye finishing a superb 6th, Richie Foster

11th and Robby Swift 16th. Four Brits in the top twenty! Can't be bad...

Fingers crossed for them all at Sotovento and the rest of the PWA year...
