The top windsurfing spot on the Greek island of Paros is at the Paros Surf
Club, on the beach opposite the Hotel Philoxenia. And things have changed pretty
significantly for the 2003 season. Hotel Paros Philoxenia has taken over the
management and the ownership of Paros Surf Club, and will continue the philosophy
of the last years: every year brand new F2 equipment and sails from Arrows or/and
Neil Pryde. However, on the beach the layout has changed – the building of Paros
Surf Club have become bigger and divided into three parts: surf club, beach
bar and diving club (Aqua Divers Club – PADI instructors for beginners
until advanced divers). Furthermore, from this year on it will be possible to
kitesurf on the beach, and as of next year (2004) onwards, they are also planning
to offer kite rental and lessons.
With all these important changes afoot they want to increase the service for
the hotel and beach guests, so are now looking to find a new windsurf and/or
kite instructor and/or Station Manager. The person they are looking for should
fulfill the following requirements:
28 – 40 years old
English fluent, Greek (big plus), French, Italian or German (at least for conversations
will be nice)
He should have all needed licenses for teaching
Boat driving license (for rescues)
New First Aid license (can be done also at our beach as Mr. David White, owner
of the Aqua Divers, is a First Aid instructor)
They are offering accommodation, food and a complementary salary. There is
also a job opportunity for a young guy who wants to work in the surf club and
in the beach bar (some hours in the club and some hours in the bar)?
