TEAM FAKEFISH EXPANDS
Currently leading the UKWA Triple Crown Series, Louise Emery (Mistral, North,
boardseeker.com) is the latest rider to join Team Fakefish.
"I’m really honoured to be asked onto the team. It means I get to be coached
by Jem Hall and work alongside two of the best sailors in the UK, John Skye
(F2, Arrows, Chiemsee, TWB) and Chris Audsely (Sailworks, Fanatic, O’Neill).
It really helps to travel to events with a committed, focused team of sailors.
I am also in charge of promoting Team Fakefish, raising its profile within the
industry and getting outside industry sponsorship"
The thinking behind the Team, funded by Kyle McGinn, is to provide a financial
support system for up and coming sailors to help them break through onto the
PWA World Tour and steadily improve their world ranking through the provision
of a coach.
With his sports science background, a wealth of coaching experience and the
central part of the Boards test team, Jem Hall is invaluable to the Team. Jem
not only attends events with the sailors but is also available on a daily basis
for technical advice and moral support.
But none of this would work without the support of Kyle McGinn, the brains and
money behind Team Fakefish, so thanks goes to Kyle for his continued support.
