PWA ANNOUNCES “EVENT KIT” FOR POTENTIAL ORGANIZERS

The PWA (and in its former incarnation the PBA) has represented the pinnacle of windsurfing for over 15 years, and as part of it’s continued campaign to promote the sport and take it to new levels, they have launched an event organizer’s pack to help would be PWA event organizers through the process of putting on a world class contest.

Putting on a successful PWA event does take a little bit of effort, but can be very rewarding both personally and financially and, on top of that, you could get to see the top sailors sailing your local beach. Successful events have often been transformed from one off spectaculars to long running classics, some of which are now in their 20th year!

The PWA has decided to put it’s 15 years of event experience into an easily understandable guide that will take anyone, from the first time event planner to seasoned promotions professionals, through every aspect of PWA events and provide guidance and assistance at every stage of planning.

The pack contains specific information that will help an organizer to plan the event and gain sponsorship, including
