This coming weekend of 14th and 15th of August Pura Vida Boardriders and Baker Academy have teamed up to present a fantastic Windsurfing clinic and Summer Bootsale as well as an evening premier of the new Fanatic DVD ‘Addicted to Ride 6’ and a show of the new 2011 kit…..don’t miss it!!
Who is it for? – well, anyone who thinks they might like to improve really! We will be cateing for all abilities and working around the whole group, spending one-on-one time with each person that attends. regardless of the wind Ant will help you get rid of any bad habits and work towards acheiving whatever you want from nailing the waterstart, better board control at speed, getting out throught the waves to trying your first loops….and nailing it!
Clinic – Saturday – We will look at the conditions and assess the best beach for the day and leave from pura vida at around 9.30-9.45am. If you are looking to demo any equipment for the day you can book it and collect it that morning. The clinic will run on until about 5pm ish….or when the wind dies! Down tools, eat….drink a few beers!
Saturday PM – Eclipse Bar and Nightclub, 18 Windsor Road, Penarth CF64 1JH. Meeting there at 8pm for an exclusive premier of the latest Fanatic DVD ‘Addicted to Ride 6’ featuring their top rides like Fernandez, Gollito, Voigt and our very own Nik Baker! We’ll be enjoying a few beers with Ant who’ll be on hand for a chat about the new kit and to run through the days sailing…..
Bootsale/Clinic Sunday – 9am meet at Puravida for our summer windsurf bootsale until 12pm when we will have chosen the best beach to head to for the afternoon clinic with Ant. At the bootsale Ant will be showing off the new Fanatic and North range of kit, as well as showing us how to make the most of the new shapes and rigging clinic. Customers can come along and sell their kit off and we’ll have all ours open to offers and deals on the day….including a mass of Fanatic/North 2010 ex-demo kit that we’ve just got our hands on….expect the usual ‘pura Vida Bootsale Bargains’!!
There will be a few group challenges and prizes to be won on both days! Including most improved for whoever progresses well each day……
Cost – £60 for Saturday, £40 for Sunday – £80 for the whole weekend (paid in cash at sign up in puravida both mornings at 9am, coffee provied!)
This is going to be a great weekend to get involved in, improve your sailing and check out the latest kit on offer! as you know from Ant’s clinic’s before that regerdless of how much or how little wind comes through….he will teach you a lot and inmprove your sailing, and have a right laugh!!
