A quick update about what’s new on the website and glance at what’s to come…
News:
With so much going on in this sport we decided to ramp up our news content. Instead of the 2/3 daily posts we have stepped it up to 4/5 a day. Be sure to keep an eye on both the ‘home’ page and also the ‘news’ page so as not to miss out on competitions, last minute holiday deals, epic videos and more…
Features:
This weeks features have taken on a bit of a grass-roots approach with SWA Will and RYA Emma looking at club activity in and around the UK. There’s a lot of thought gone in to both articles, they are well worth a read and your comments and feedback are more than welcome at the bottom of the page. Further down is our Fitness Monthly from Lucy, who looks at how to avoid cramp whilst sailing. Finally, a highlight in next weeks features is a cracking interview with John Skye as well as some shots from Cape Town which reveal a little more about what’s in store with RRD this year…
LiveChats:
This week we had a hugely successful LiveChat with Josh Angulo. One hour of questioning from you guys and lots of typing from him resulted in plenty of detailed information about his move to Point-7, his plans for the future and if PWA Waves were still on the agenda. In fact the LiveChat was so popular the site simply went off-line for two minutes, we’ve already worked on this so that much much higher traffic levels can be accepted during our next LiveChat. So be sure to login when we have our next guest lined up.
Developments:
In the coming weeks you will notice a few tweaks to the site, this is to add even more excitement/information for the coming UK/EFPT/PWA events season. We plan to bring you as much of the up-to-date coverage that we can get our hands on as well as test-piloting some new ways of reporting about the events.
Paper Magazine:
The Boards Spring/Summer annual has had a team that have literally been working round the clock to get it finished in time. The work really shows as a high quality piece will hit doormats within two weeks time. Keep checking the site as the opportunity to purchase the magazine will go up shortly as well as a sneak-peak at the contents page…
