It’s all in the details!

We took our successful 2K12 sails apart in to the tiniest pieces with our designers, going through each and every single detail and stitch that holds the sail together. The clean up and beautification of the sail! Just like when you open your closet and throw out all the old things you don’t need anymore, replacing with the new, we cleaned up each and every detail on the 2K13 sail…Focusing on the mast sleeve construction, the reinforcement display and many other small details.

After the sail construction and design was finalised, we worked a lot on the perfect batten grading percentages to improve to 100% the profile entry. Every batten in the 2K13 has it’s own individual grading percentages, to give the most state-of-the-art profile to the sail. We then improved the small tensions at every part of the leech, on each sizing of the sail. In some sizes we realised that there were still some extra millimiters we could modify to reach the perfection we wanted to see.

To achieve all these details, we have finished working only just in time to register the sails for the PWA World Tour in 2013.
