The Calshot Flyers are fully pimped out with brand new gear for 2013…
“The Calshot Flyers’ Windsurfing Club is very happy to be starting the 2013 season with some new high performance windsurfing equipment, which will allow members to try freestyle, class racing and speed sailing for the first time. The Club has been awarded a substantial grant from Sport England’s National Lottery funded Small Grants Programme, which aims to increase participation in sport of young people.
Based at Calshot Activities Centre, the windsurfing club for 8-18 year olds meets Mondays and Wednesdays every other week between 6pm and 8pm. The Club would welcome any experienced windsurfers who want to improve and take advantage of the fantastic new high performance equipment. Beginners are also welcome to come along and give windsurfing a try!
The Club provides fully trained instructors and safety cover and aims to help all its members’ to progress and to have fun. Wetsuits and buoyancy aids are also available.
As part of the T15 RYA Initiative the Club takes part in the South Zone events, which enables members to sail at different venues and take part in racing if they so wish.”
