It was a very busy weekend over in Tenerife at the PWA wave world cup with the completion of the double elimination for the men and women.
It was come back time for some of the Brits in the double with Adam Lewis coming through three incredible heats, only to be stopped by Philip Koster, taking him up to 9th position. Whilst, on the other side of the draw Robby Swift beat Dany Bruch and then current world champion Thomas Traversa to take him up to 6th.
The final was a tense time to watch as winner of the single elimination Jaeger Stone snapped his board in the opening seconds of the heat! So, it was Victor Fernandez who won this and went on to win the super final in unbelievable style. On the women’s side it was Daida Moreno that again beat sister Iballa in the final, but it was Amanda Beenen who took the third spot on the podium and showed the girls are pushing the twins harder and harder.

Ricardo Campello won the contest with some insane double and more rotation, but Lewis busted out an awesome no-handed pushloop to secure second ahead of Antoine Martin. We’re waiting for the videos and photos from this to drop…shouldn’t be long!
