Massive congratulations this morning goes to Bryony Shaw who was won the RS:X Europeans! Bryony has taken yet another victory at the top level of Olympic windsurfing, this surely bodes well for 2016?
Further down the women’s field Izzy Hamilton took 11th place and Emma Wilson 24th and 4th under 21, not bad for a 16-year-old at her first senior competition!
With the absence of Nick Dempsey it was Tom Squires who took the top placed Brit in the men’s fleet, placing an impressive 18th in a very competitive field.
Check out the full news and updates from the whole event on the RS:X Europeans website here.
In further news, British Eurosport 2 will be showing 30 minutes of coverage from the PWA in Costa Brava at midnight tonight. It doesn’t say if it’s from the 2015 contest, but we’re going to hope/presume it is!
