Last night, UK time, the final PWA wave event of the season got underway at the legendary Ho’okipa Beach Park. The swell was absolutely pumping and the previous days had seen the best sailors in the world taking on the might of Jaws, which only works when a sizeable swell is hitting the island. The contest started off with the trials where many locals well joined by a few outside riders to take their chance in the crazy conditions in the hope of making it into the main draw. We’re only through the first round right now, but the incredible conditions are set to continue so it will be right on with the action late tonight in the UK. Make sure you watch live on the PWA website here.
With a few of the usual UK faces choosing to stay in the UK to take part in this weekend’s BWA finale it is down to the likes of Robby Swift and John Skye to make the UK proud!
With the conditions looking like they are going to fire for the BWA Cornwall Classic as well we cannot wait to see how the action unfolds both on home shores and across the pond. Here’s a snip of the action form both so far.
I’d like to change the last pic for this pic… and say exactly the same thing!!! WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!! What a nutter!!!!…
